Early morning beach walking with paper boat and rising sun. Bliss.

Hi Jac!
Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas - sorry to hear your mum was ill, but glad to read she has recovered, as I scrolled down the page. It's a worry as our parents get older, I must say...I have just got back home after nearly 2 weeks in Hereford, and I see how my mum is much less spritely, with health issues now :(
The photo of you in your studio with all those clothes on is so funny! What a laugh I had when I saw it, brilliant! Why is there saxa salt in your studio? And is that a giant bag of maltesers? Yummy! I love the pics of your studio, they're my favourite!I also love the picture of Tom about to be eaten by a horse on the Cat Blog, great stuff!
Happy New Year to you all!

Salt is used in my painting. Sprinkling it onto wet paint breaks the surface tension of the water and makes a texture in the paint. Malteesers fuel painting.
It was sooooo cold yesterday, warmer today.

I just clicked on the picture, to look for the salt (as you do), and I'm amazed by the length of your hair. It looks great, and of course adds to the insulation :)

Hope your mum is feeling better.

Unfortunately as well as growing my hair for insulation I have grown a fair layer or two of fat. Good for keeping warm. New years resolutions, eat less, paint more.
