Beautiful distraction

In the post today a small and beautiful paper boat from Tessa. Carefully designed, the boat came from Holland and you can see more if you click on this link.
Also here.
I wonder if Tessa thought to herself before she sent this! Now I want to work out how to draw and doodle on paper to get the best decoration showing on a paperboat of my own. How to distract your artist from finishing her work!

How very lovely! What a beautiful gift! Distractions are a-plenty, aren't they? Usually domestic, such as food-shopping, visiting banks, cleaning etc...this is a very charming distraction!

What a beautiful paper boat! I had no idea they were so pervasive on the internet...nor so beautiful! (Thinking you could sell some beautiful paper boat kits to go along with Starlight, Starbright.)

Lovely, Jackie! I am practising my boat-folding. So far, I've only used scrumpled print-outs and scraps I've cleaned my brush on. An A5 size is, according to Geiger, just right for batting around the floor. (Well, that's better than batting my bulb of garlic around the floor!)

What a lovely idea! So simple and yet original. I think you might start a trend here now Jackie ;)x

That's very pretty, and I can imagine that you're thinking about decorating your own ones now!

I popped over to your studio blog yesterday and had to laugh at the state of your desk. I've been gently chided by my husband today for letting my house get in a similar state. I ask you, what would you prefer - housework or painting???
